Prof. HJ  Biersack

Prof. Biersack is a distinguished nuclear medicine physician who previously served as chancellor of the University of Bonn, Germany, president of The World Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology, chairman of the German Society of Nuclear Medicine.

His honors include the Order of Merit (Federal Republic of Germany), Sign of Honor (International Red Cross) and Werner Heisenberg Medaille.

Prof. Biersack has over 650 publications.

He published 310 book chapters and 35 books.

Prof. Gary Cook

Prof. Cook is Professor of Clinical PET Imaging at King’s College London; honorary consultant physician at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust; editorial board member of the European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and Associate editor of the British Journal of Radiology.

He was appointed as consultant at the Royal Marsden Hospital in 2000 to lead a new PET center.

Prof. Cook’s group mainly focuses on multimodality imaging of metabolic bone diseases; evaluation of novel tracers for oncological SPECT and PET imaging; multimodality multiparametric imaging biomarker development and measurement of tumour heterogeneity.

He has over 200 publications and received numerous awards.

Dr. YK Wan

Dr. Wan is the CEO of Shanghai Novamab Biopharmaceutical Company.

He has extensive experience in the development of camelid single domain antibodies with more than 40 successful screening projects to date. He previously served as principle investigator in the Shanghai Institute of Material Medica (Chinese Academy of Sciences) in Shanghai and South East University in Nangjing before starting Novamab in 2018.

He received his PhD degree from the Institute of Botany (Chinese Academy of Sciences) and subsequently worked as a post-doctoral scientist at the University of Texas at Austin, the Baylor College and the Institute for Systems Biology in the USA.
